A reader tells us why Dr Luc's Promise worked for her

33-year-old Gayle Botes explains all...

"Thank you again for the privilege of reading this book.  I have learnt so much."

"I now know that losing (and keeping) the weight off is not going to be a three month thing and that if it was, then I'd probably regain all the weight I would have lost. To date I have lost around 3.5 kgs. Dr Luc has shown me that I need to relook at how and what I eat, as well as WHY I eat rather than just WHAT NOT TO EAT.  I need to learn to listen to my body and to not eat on the run. I am applying a few of his ‘tips’ to our lives and am taking it one day at a time."

"I'm so glad I've had the chance to learn all this (and I can tell I have a long way to go), because I feel it’s important to teach my two daughters the same principals.  Girls are exposed to such pressure when they are growing up and I feel that it’s the mothers responsibility to teach her children ALL they need to know. By learning these valuable eating patterns and adapting how we look at weight management I just know I will be giving them a small boost in this very weight conscious time we now live in".
