Evelyn John Holtzhausen caught the hiking bug at an early age when his family introduced him to the wonders of the Drakensberg. He has since hiked many trails in South Africa, Spain, Norway, the UK and USA. A former journalist and co-founder of a public relations firm, he now leads hiking groups for friends and facilitates forest bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) experiences. He lives in Cape Town.
