Dee Costello is a children's book editor and writer who grew up in London, spent a happy chunk of her life in Boston, USA, and is now living by the big, beautiful sea in Worthing, UK. At every opportunity she will try to smell pine trees, cycle, surf, laugh, make arty 'creations' with her two children, and read . . . out loud!

Ali Pye has illustrated more than 30 books, which have been published around the world. She is the author of several picture books, and the ‘Harry Stevenson’ young fiction series. Ali studied fashion at Central St Martins before taking an MA in illustration at Kingston University. She lives in London with her family, two guinea pigs and the world’s greediest spaniel.
