Bridget Pitt was born in Zimbabwe in 1958. She grew up in Johannesburg, and studied English and psychology at the University of Cape Town. She is the author of three novels, works of non-fiction, short stories and poetry.Bridget’s novel The Unseen Leopard was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Prize in 2011 and the 2012 Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa. Her poetry has been published in The Thinker magazine, and her short fiction has been shortlisted for the Commonwealth Prize, among others.
