Simeon is passionate about Accounting and is a constant learner himself. He discovered his passion for
teaching in Grade 8 and tutored students throughout High School. He went on to become a teaching
assistant at University, where he taught Financial and Cost Accounting. Simeon completed a Bachelors
Degree in Accounting at Northeastern State University in the US and a Masters Degree in Financial
Economics at Erasmus University in Holland.
After graduating, he joined Deloitte & Touche in Holland. During his time there he was often required to
present complex problems to his clients in an easy-to-understand manner. Simeon has applied this same
approach to the writing of the Accounting Handbook and Study Guide.
More recently Simeon started Tutors24, which has provided online support to over 150 000 High School
students. He also works closely with publishers to develop educational content.
