About the Author

Marleen Lammers

Marleen grew up in the Netherlands but has spent the last twenty years wandering through Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Spain, Cyprus, and England, among other places. She's not entirely sure how that happened. She loves animals, Cape Town, sunshine, and being barefoot. She's happiest when writing stories for kids and has published six picture books, a chapter book about a robot obsessed with knock-knock jokes, and a children's cookbook that follows the adventures of a hungry monkey called Mitch.
