Peter Brigg

About
As a young boy, Peter Brigg fished with bait and earthworms for eel and mullet in the rivers around King William’s Town, but it was after catching a small rainbow trout in the headwaters of the Buffalo River in the Amatola Mountains that his lifelong passion for fly-fishing and trout began. He has an affinity for the natural
environment, combining his love of fly-fishing small streams with his interests in hiking, photography, writing and art. Peter is a member of the Federation of Southern African Flyfishers and an honorary member of the Natal Fly Fishers Club. He is a freelance writer with numerous feature articles in local and overseas fly magazines, and the author of the acclaimed fly-fishing book, Call of the Stream,  and writes a blog by the same name.
