The 85th Academy Awards ceremony is upon us – an evening celebrating the magic of movies and the stories they tell. We don’t know about you, but when the 24th of February rolls around, we’ll have secured comfy spots on the couch and be clutching our popcorn, ready for several hours of amazing entertainment.
But why does a book publisher love the Oscars, you ask? Well, not only do we naturally admire great stories, but this year, we are delighted that so many of the nominees were originally books published by Penguin!
Life of Pi, Lincoln, Argo, Snow White & The Huntsman, Les Misérables and Anna Karenina – phenomenal books turned into movies which get nominated for Oscars.
We’re so thrilled that we’ve decided to give away a hamper of all these Oscar-nominated books plus double tickets to see one of these films at any NuMetro cinema nationwide!
