Claudette Browne Storrar

Claudette Browne Storrar is an award-winning freelance copywriter with over 20 years’ experience in advertising. She has worked in some of South Africa’s leading advertising agencies on a wide range of local and international brands; from fast cars to fast food. Over the past few years she has begun branching into strategic development, helping young start-ups, NGOs and organisations find their voice. In 2019, LAPA Publishers published her children’s book Nelly and Sam, Beletha and in 2022 the second in the series Nelly and Sam, Thwala was published. Both tell the story of friendship, love and the sharing of cultures between a nanny Nelly and Sam, the little boy she looks after. Her poetry has been published in a children’s multi-author collection called The Vegan Vampire and Other Fantastic Fiction. She lives, works and writes in the Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal with her husband and two sons.
