About the book

Dawid Uys, a young pastor in the countryside is confronted with questions about his origin and his faith when opportunities and challenges suddenly come his way. He is also faced with difficult choices when he gets an unexpected call from a lawyer telling him that he has inherited Oom Boela’s farm, Aurora. Dawid barely knows Oom Boela and on top of that the farm comes with a bunch of terms and conditions.

The farm and the church bring endless challenges and then there is Dawid’s love life as well. He must deal with the church council; difficult farm workers and then he falls in love with the neighbour’s daughter.
