Level 6 focusses on diphthongs: those vowels in which there is a noticeable sound change within the same syllable. The stories include longer sentences and paragraphs. It introduces new contextual vocabulary and has an emphasis on sight words with complex spelling. The next 10 Tippie adventures are proudly South African and build on all the skills acquired in the previous levels. The text is supported with modern and relevant illustrations to aid comprehension. Additionally, the stories have been written to encourage reasoning and problem solving, while enhancing the reader’s imagination and critical thinking skills.
