Solet Scheeres

Solet Scheeres is a middle school teacher in Drunen, The Netherlands, where she also lives with her family. She is mainly a writer of children’s and young adult fiction in Afrikaans. Her well-loved book, The Lion Tamer’s Assistant, was translated in 2017. Solet has also published a manual, Jou kind en verlies, helping parents and teachers to assist children when they experience loss.
