About the Author

Tom Eaton  is a writer, living in Cape Town, where he is the husband of Tanya and a figure of mild disappointment to their dog, Honey. Over the past 20 years he has been a columnist for the  Mail & Guardian, Noseweek, Sunday Times Day  and  Business Day.  He has published three novels –  The De Villiers Code,  an instant bestseller,  Texas  and  The Wading,  which was described by JM Coetzee as “refreshingly original in conception and assured in its prose style”.
