1. This promotional competition (“Competition”) is run by Penguin Random House South Africa (Proprietary) Limited, registration number 1953/00441/07(“Promoter”).
2. This offer may not be used in conjunction with any other offer of the Promoter.
3. The competition begins on 1 February 2018 and ends on 28 February 2018. All entries must be received by 23:59 (SAST) on 28 February 2018. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid. Entries become the property of the Promoter and are not returned.
4. The competition is open to all persons aged 18 (eighteen) years or older and resident in South Africa, except the Promoter’s directors, partners, employees, agents, consultants and their immediate families.
5. Participation by all entrants (“Entrants”) constitutes acceptance of these Rules.
6. No Entrant may win more than 1 (one) prize per prize draw.
7. The prize is a midweek, one-night stay with bed, breakfast and dinner included for two at the Babylonstoren Farm Hotel at Babylonstoren, Klapmuts Simondium Road, Simondium, 7670. A total of 1 (one) prize will be awarded.
8. The prize does not include air-travel or transport expenses to the Babylonstoren Farm Hotel. Winners must get themselves to and from the Hotel.
9. To enter, Entrants must complete the online competition form before the closing date. No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw. Entrance into the prize draw is free. Only 1 (one) entry per person will be allowed.
10. Should any of the prizes referred to above, for any reason whatsoever, become unavailable, the Promoter may in its sole discretion award a similar prize in value.
11. All correctly completed entries will be entered into a prize draw. The first 1 (one) entries drawn will be announced as the winners. The name of the winner(s) will be announced on the Promoter’s social media platforms (Facebook and/or Twitter). The winner will be notified via email or telephone within 3 (three) working days of the closing date.
12. These Rules may be amended by notification at any time during the Competition.
13. The prize is exclusively for the prize winner and is not transferable, not exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for its cash value.
14. The winner must confirm his/her attendance by 31 March 2018.
15. The prize voucher will be sent to the winner, but winner must provide valid proof of identification when redeeming the prize at the Babylonstoren Farm Hotel.
16. The Promoter may make media announcements, publications of names, photographs of any prize winner(s), provided that any prize winner(s) may expressly elect to decline this.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of any prize winner(s) to verify their eligibility to win such prize(s).
18. All Entrants and prize winners hereby indemnify the Promoter and its agents, against any/all claims for any injury, loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from their participation in any way howsoever in this Competition.

20. To obtain details of the winners and runners up please email marketing@penguinrandomhouse.co.za stating the name of the prize draw in the subject heading 4 (four) weeks after the closing date.
21. The Promoter will use any data submitted by Entrants only for the purposes of running the prize draw, unless otherwise stated in the entry details. By entering this prize draw, all Entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw and any other purposes to which the Entrant has consented.
22. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
