Competition
On the 23rd of April, we annually celebrate World Book Day, and we are delighted to invite schools for the third year to participate in our World Book Day competition!
This is a unique opportunity for you and your learners to celebrate the wonder of books by bringing your favorite book characters to life. The school that proves to have the most passion for reading will win R5000 worth of books for the school, and there is also an individual prize for the most unique costume at stake!
Guidelines for individual prizes:
- Judges are looking for unique book characters portrayed in a cost-effective manner.
- Book characters from LAPA and Penguin books will be preferred. Feel free to visit our websites if you are unsure whether the book character is from one of our books.
- Although classic children's book characters from stories like "Alice in Wonderland", "Goldilocks and the Three Bears", or "Little Red Riding Hood" are dear to our hearts, we are specifically looking for newer characters.
How do I register my school?
- Post the photos on Facebook/Instagram and tag us in the post:
