Competition
We’re thrilled to invite schools to join us for the fourth year of our World Book Day competition celebrating this special day on the 23rd of April.
This is your chance to bring stories to life and showcase your school’s passion for reading. Dress up as your favorite book characters, celebrate the magic of books, and stand a chance to win R7,000 worth of books for your school! Plus, there’s a special prize for the most unique costume!
But wait, there’s more! All schools that enter will also receive 15% off any of our books. This is just a little thank you for sharing the joy of reading with us!
Guidelines for individual prizes:
- Judges are looking for unique book characters portrayed in a cost-effective manner.
- Book characters from LAPA and Penguin books will be preferred. Feel free to visit our websites if you are unsure whether the book character is from one of our books.
- Although classic children's book characters from stories like "Alice in Wonderland", "Goldilocks and the Three Bears", or "Little Red Riding Hood" are dear to our hearts, we are specifically looking for newer characters.
How do I register my school?
