We’re delighted to announce that four of our authors have made the Man Booker Prize longlist:
- The Testament of Mary by Colm Tóibín (Viking)
- A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki (Canongate)
- Unexploded by Alison MacLeod (Hamish Hamilton) - due for release in October 2013 in South Africa
- The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton (Granta) - due for release in October 2013 in South Africa
'This year's prize judges can breathe out, briefly at least. Faced with scaling a gargantuan mountain of books – a daunting 151 of them – they have reached the first plateau, panting and aching no doubt, and whittled out a longlist for the 2013 prize.
