Extract: Chisoni by JG Jesman
Following his brother’s funeral, Chisoni embarks on a flight to England, where he lives. In his pocket is a note to their father, written by his brother shortly before his death. Chisoni cannot bring himself to look at the note, let alone deliver it. His neighbour on the plane is a loquacious Irishman and, over the course of their 13-hour flight, the two form a genuine connection, sharing their thoughts and fears about life and death.
